- Abstract
Psoriasis is a common skin disease characterized by formation of erythematous and scaly plaques. We aimed to determine the relationship between psoriasis and serum levels of C-reactive protein (CRP) and uric acid before and after narrow band ultraviolet B (NBUVB) treatment. Our findings confirm that serum uric acid level has no role in psoriasis severity; however, serum CRP level could be regarded as a marker for severity of psoriasis and follow up of treatment.
