- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 39-year-old woman who was diagnosed with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) at 33 years of age. A biopsy specimen was attained from the finger's erythematous maculopapule and the histopathologic features showed a nodular or diffuse dermatitis all over the reticular dermis. Treatment with prednisolone and intravenous antibiotics alleviated her conditions, such as palisaded neutrophilic granulomatus dermatitis (PNGD), cellulitis and fever, within one week.
