- Abstract
The research aimed at specifying teachers' professional development requirements in times of crisis in light of contemporary trends. These requirements were specified in a questionnaire consisting (4) main fields including (40) sub-requirements. Research sample reached (617) randomly selected teachers. Results of statistical analysis of research sample's responses illustrating all main fields have high importance. Digital knowledge management's arithmetic average reached (25.36), communication & participation (25.23), creativity & innovation (24.48), career (24.46) and requirements (99.4). Results illustrated, there were no statistically significant differences at level (0.05=α) between male and female teachers' responses attributed to sex variable about importance requirements. Results indicated statistically significant differences at (0.05=α) attributed to change in experience variable of those having less than 10 years. Research recommended urgent need to update and develop professional development requirements of teachers in light of contemporary trends.
