- Title
Ohio's Land Bank Legislation: Modernizing an Aged Model.
- Authors
Fitzpatrick IV, Thomas J.
- Abstract
The article provides a discussion on the land banking system in Cuyahoga County, Ohio. It notes that the system has no operating budget and staff of its own, operates only within the government, and is not a legal entity and a government program. Furthermore, the Land Bank Act allows the creation of county land reutilization corporations to modernize Ohio's current land bank system by establishing land banks as separate legal entities with their own staff, budgets and independent legal status.
