- Abstract
The article presents information on a study related to the use of electronic networks such as telecommunication as tools for activities in human service agencies in the U.S. Such applications are found cost effective and efficient in the information sharing, strategic planning, and program networking. At the same time, it has certain side effects too. The article also discusses the history of such networks in human services, developmental stages of individual telecommunications, its development as a telecommunication network and advantages and disadvantages of electronic networking.
