- Abstract
3D models have been widely used in a great variety of fields. The verification and debugging of the algorithms on 3D models are critical. MeshLab provides a series of infrastructure for 3D shape analysis with an open architecture. This paper summarizes the key technologies involved in the development of 3D based on MeshLab, including adding customized menus and batch importing data. This paper presents an algorithm for traversing arbitrary order adjacent mesh primitives based on the Depth-first algorithm and design pattern. The test result shows that the proposed algorithm is superior to the traditional method in the aspect of cyclomatic complexity. The novel algorithm has succeeded in performing arbitrary order adjacent operations on a series of challenging meshes.
