- Abstract
The article offers information on the issues related to causation-based approach to joint illegal enterprises in context to the judgment of the England and Wales Court of Appeals in the case of Joyce v. O'Brien & Another. It informs that the court analyzes the evidence against the claims for injuries from motor vehicle accidents during the course of criminal activities and find that claimant lacks existence of a duty of care by one participant in a crime to another participant.
