- Title
Super-rare "elkhorn" coral found in Pacific.
- Abstract
The article focuses on the discovery on what could be the rarest coral in the remote area of North Pacific Ocean. It says that coral researcher Zoe Richards of the Australian Research Council (ARC) Centre of Excellence for Coral Reef Studies (CoECRS) has found the Pacific elkhorn coral while conducting underwater surveys of Arno atoll in the Marshall Islands. It tells that the coral has physical resemblance of the endangered elkhorn coral, but genetic analysis showed it to be different species.
