- Abstract
corporate scandals, organizations are increasingly focused on ensuring that unethical and illegal practices are identified and removed from the workplace. This article applies an OD perspective to the notion of whistle-blowing behavior, employee hotlines, and surveys as a means for driving out bad (i.e., counterproductive, illegal, unethical) behavior. Using the example of a multi-national organization as a case study, observations and recommendations are provided for practitioners to consider when using these tools for organizational change.
