- Abstract
The article discusses the case of Robins v. Pruneyard involving the right of free speech in privately owned premises. Topics discussed include the Supreme Court of California's 1979 ruling that soliciting by high school students at the Pruneyard Shopping Center for signatures for a petition is protected by the free speech guarantee of the California Constitution and the exclusion of the liberty of speech clause of the California Constitution from the purview of the judgment.
