The article focuses on the English translations of Seneca's poem "Thyestes" between 1557 and 1800. Topics discussed include the translators who worked on Seneca's poem, including Thomas Wyatt, Jasper Heywood and Don Share, the books published about translating "Thyestes" and the assumption that Wyatt wrote the last line of the poem's second chorus right after the death of his patron Thomas Cromwell in 1540.
