- Abstract
The article discusses research regarding patterns of abnormal illness behavior (AIB) among healthy individuals, and it mentions the work of Professor Issy Pilowsky, health information-related self-report questionnaires, and cluster analyses of illness behavior responses. Affirmation of illness and concerns about health are addressed, along with coping strategies, physical symptoms, and anxiety about health-related issues. Cognitive distortion of somatic information is assessed.
