- Abstract
The article explores the construction of locality in the three-dimensional space, or hyperreality, of Walt Disney World's shopping, dining and entertainment complex called Disney Springs, particularly Southern food that are representative of Florida and its locale. It highlights the architectural design of food spaces and the experiential realism of food consumption presented to patrons. The utilization of theme space and design in relation to Southern food and culture are discussed.
