- Abstract
The article presents a study on the prevalence of canine vector-borne diseases (CVBD) among shelter dogs in Korea. It cites several types of the CVBD such as canine dirofilariasis, granulocytic anaplasmosis and Lyme borreliosis. The study conducted various methods such as random sampling, enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) and chi-squared test. The study concludes that CVBD can cause severe diseases in dogs as well as in humans.
