- Abstract
The article focuses on several issues concerning the power of the U.S. Congress to strip jurisdiction and state courts in the country. It highlights the Supreme Court case of Boumediene v. Bush which hold a jurisdiction-stripping statute unconstitutional. It notes that the Congress has no means to utilize its power to control jurisdiction to preclude constitutionally vital remedies for the violation of constitutional rights.
