- Abstract
The article discusses issues on forensic searches of electronic devices on U.S. borders, particularly on personal privacy, and the exception on said searches. Also cited are the constitutional right against unreasonable searches and seizures under the Fourth Amendment of the Constitution, the policy of the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) on said exception for electronic devices, and the need to establish a minimum requirement of reasonable suspicion to justify forensic searches.
