- Authors
Strenger, Carlo
- Abstract
The article discusses the psychodynamics of self-righteousness and its role in the Middle East and Israeli-Palestinian conflict. It asserts that the sense of malignant self-righteousness (MSR) can cause a condition related to the so-called moral blindness. The author explores the impact of the emergence of Hamas on the collective mind of Israelis. He explains the reason why the sense of MSR on the Middle East cannot be destroyed.
