The article presents a conference paper by Matthew C. Moen of the University of Oklahoma in Norman, Oklahoma, delivered at the annual meeting of the American Political Science Association in New York on September 1981, in which he discussed the topic "Factors Maximizing Constituency-Member Interaction." It states that several factors that heighten service-oriented contact between U. S. representatives and their constituents are described in this paper.
