- Abstract
This article focuses on the micropropagation of Tinospora cordifolia Miers ex Hook. F. & Thoms, a large deciduous climbing shrub found throughout India. It is mainly known for its medicinal properties in Ayurvedic medicine. Six-month-old twines of healthy plants of this plant were collected for the micropropagation. Ex-plants were prepared from the nodal portion of stems, which were thoroughly washed with tap water to remove soil and other superficial contamination.
