- Abstract
The article discusses the repeated relocation of the mural "The Place of Healing in the Transformation from War to Peace" painted by Canadian artist Miller Gore Brittain at the Lancaster Department of Veterans Affairs Hospital (DVA) in West Saint John, New Brunswick, and unveiled in May 1954. According to the article, it was created to honor the sacrifices of World War II veterans and was commissioned by the federal government. Its reception and it being stored temporarily at the New Brunswick Museum (NBM) are also mentioned.
