The path to cutting greenhouse gas emissions in the United States.
- Authors
DiPeso, Jim
- Abstract
The article focuses on the best way to reduce emissions by 80 percent over 2050 in the U.S. It cites coal and gasoline which are considered as the two key emission sources to be critical for reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 80 percent. It further notes that electricity generated by biomass would yield to 108 percent more greenhouse-gas emissions reductions per area of cropland than cellulosic ethanol.
