- Abstract
The author discusses a study by C. S. Aranda and colleagues on the pattern of sensitization in allergic patients treated at pediatric allergy referral centers in Brazil. Topics include the difficulty of interpreting the significance of high frequencies of sensitization with low titers, limitation of the range of allergens examined, and significance of the study for clinical allergists practicing in Brazil and allergy researchers interested in patterns of allergen sensitization in the region.
