This article discusses the approach used in reading Shakespearean plays. It mentions the poststructuralism and postcolonialism approach which help expands and enrich the contexts for investigating what makes Shakespearean plays compelling. It notes the transversal approach which uses special language for bringing out new ways of looking at old texts.
