- Abstract
The article discusses the musculoskeletal and neurological complications of COVID-19. Among the factors leading to COVID-19-related neurological complications are viral neurotropism, cytokine storm and hypercoagulability. It cites the challenges posed by the complications to rehabilitation of COVID-19 patients. Also noted is the increasing demand for specialised rehabilitative centres and teams during to the COVID-19 pandemic.
