The article examines theory of contributory liability in the landlord-tenant context and concludes by offering five lessons for commercial landlords in the U.S. Topics discussed include origins and elements of contributory trademark infringement; enactment of Lanham Act for governing trademark in the country; and the U.S. Supreme Court case Omega SA v. Costco on the same.
