The article presents the discussion on segregation, reservations, and American Indian health. Topics include disease and ill health being the result of the circumstances where people growing, living, working, and aging; segregation being the separation of two or more population groups by racial, ethnic, social, class, sex, or age; and accessing to resources, opportunities, and services resulting in high rates of poverty, social disorder, and unemployment.
