- Abstract
The article discusses the history and contents of the non-profit British Archive of Country Music (BACM), located in Dover, England. The archive was established by record collector Dave Barnes in the late 1980s. While it houses collections of musical records, compact discs (CDs), and digital-video discs (DVDs), the archive also acts as a record label for vintage country music. The BACM also houses a collection of fanzines and small music magazines such as "Country Western Express" and "Country News and Views."
