- Abstract
The article looks at a study which examines the mean dimensions of the ear and their association with age, sex, and height. It notes that the dimensions of the ears were measured through a direct manual measurement technique based on the length and width. It indicates that ear length and ear width varies in gender, height, and age. A research which supports the theory that ear size is influenced by resilience and elasticity in skin and tensile strength of connective tissue is mentioned.
