- Abstract
The article features the two DNA craftsmen such as Ham Smith and Clyde Hutchison of J. Craig Venter Institute Inc. (JCVI) in San Diego, California. It notes that the two built has buit a genome in May 2010 which is the longest synthesized DNA ever assembled used for restarting bacterial cell. It also mentions that their methods played a significant role in molecular genetics in which biologist David Baltimore states that two have done an important part in basic science.
