The article focuses on the increase of human life expectancy, and the complexities of the ageing process. According to the author, the increase in human life expectancy has increased by several hours per day in various countries. The increase in life expectancy has affected the ageing process, a biological process that benefits from systems biology. Topics covered include nature of systems biology, diseases brought by age, and results of research on ageing. The author inferred that there are more things to discover in the problems of ageing.
