- Title
ECJ 9 November 2023, case C-477/22-275/22 (Azienda regionale sarda transporti), Working Time.
- Abstract
The document provides summaries of three European Court of Justice (ECJ) rulings. The first ruling states that the right to paid annual leave applies to workers regardless of whether their employer is a private undertaking with a public service delegation. The second ruling clarifies that the concept of "total accumulated driving time" in Regulation No 561/2006 only includes driving time, not other work, and defines the distance covered by the service. The third ruling determines that national legislation subjecting the income of EU officials to the social security scheme of a Member State infringes on the EU's exclusive competence to determine social security obligations for EU officials.
