- Abstract
Introduction: Medical ethics is a controversial and important issue and it is needed to think and research in its various aspects. Hence, the present study aims at evaluating the appropriateness of the medical ethics questioner of Jahrom University of Medical Sciences with the studies of medical ethics from the vantage point of experts in medical ethics. Methods & Materials: This is a descriptive study that was conducted on all medical specialists and ethics experts in jurisprudence teaching medical ethics at the Universities of Medical Sciences of Shiraz and of Jahrom.Data collection was the research rough sketch prepared by the Research Ethics Committee of Jahrom University of Medical Sciences and the appropriateness score of the mentioned unit with the Research Ethics in the research was inserted by the units under study, beside any part of this questionnaire. Data analysis was performed using statistical software SPSS version 21. Results: Calculating the scores of doctors and jurists showed that there were many similarities between the views of these two groups. And in general, the total score obtained from the views of people in both groups of physicians and jurists, with the mean and standard deviation of 7.13 ± 82.01, was indicative of a high degree of consensus among participants about the appropriateness of the present project for the study of medical ethics. Conclusion: It seems that both doctors and jurists have consensus regarding the high suitability of the raw project designed to study medical ethics.
