- Abstract
The article presents an overview of the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC), an independent regulatory agency of marketing activity in the U.S., its key role and its performance over time. It includes a section introduction to various essays published in this journal on the authors' contribution to public policy. It is the 100th anniversary of FTC in 2014, which is run by five commissioners and three major Bureaus, responsible for providing a fair competitive and consumer environment.
