- Abstract
The non-isothermal crystallisation kinetics of polyethylene glycol (PEG) was studied with differential scanning calorimetry. The non-isothernal crystallisation data of PEG were analysed by the methods of Ozawa, Jeziorny and Mo Zhi-shen. The crystallisation parameters of these processes were also determined. The results indicate that the crystallisation process of PEG may be described with Ozawa kinetic equation and Mo, but does not agree with Avrami equation processed in the Jeziorny method. The linearity of treating kinetic curves with Ozawa method and Mo method is better. Parameter of crystallisation velocity for PEG is 1.02. The non-isothermal crystallisation energy ΔE of PEG is calculated by the Kissinger equation.
