The article focuses on the study of the use of high concentration of hexavelent chromium in the cement leading to the rise in the cement dermatitis in India. It mentions that occupational skin diseases can lead to important burden among workers in the construction industry. It states that exposure to water-soluble hexavalent chromium compounds caused allergic contact dermatitis.
