This situation, along with the perceived very high risk of surgery leading to the postponement or rejection of non-vital operations, resulted in higher musculoskeletal morbidity of these patients. We present the unique case of acquired persistent patellar dislocation in adolescent patient with severe haemophilia A and challenging delayed surgical treatment due to the presence of inhibitor and his young age with immaturity of the skeletal growth. The patient underwent a high dose ITI with complete success at 24 months and subsequently continued FVIII prophylaxis.
