- Abstract
I have found customer services to be a great topic to research and it is also a broad topic that brings about a lot of discussion which leads to many models for good customer service skills. Within this research paper I will demonstrate the importance of customer service to any company, how great customer service contributions to company success, and how companies who did pay attention to providing great customer service suffered certain consequences. It must also be made clear that companies do not provide great customer service, but its people do. It is important for companies to provide their people with the necessary skills to provide great service and to stress to their people the importance of consistency in providing good service. In this paper, I will be addressing the following: (a) what is excellent customer service? (b) what is poor customer service? (c) poor customer services can ruin a relationship with a client, (d) can too much customer service be overbearing? and (d) what happens when there is not enough customer service?
