- Abstract
The article discusses the study regarding the snowpack drought in Washington State from 2014-2015 and its relation with anthropogenic climate change and low precipitation. Topics discussed include the increased risk of wildfires with the reduction of Pacific Northwest (PNW) snowpack, the correlation of Pacific decadal oscillation (PDO) and North Pacific index (NPI), and understanding sea surface temperature (SST) patterns.
