- Abstract
The World Cancer Research Fund (WCRF) has conducted extensive research on the impact of diet, physical activity, and excess body weight on cancer risk and mortality. Their findings, published in the International Journal of Cancer, suggest that maintaining a healthy body weight, being physically active, and following a healthy diet can reduce the risk of cancer. However, the evidence for specific recommendations for cancer patients is limited. The WCRF recommends further research, including large-scale intervention studies, to determine the effects of lifestyle modifications on cancer patients' health outcomes.
