- Abstract
The article provides an overview of forced migration in South Asia where majority are victims of the policies of governments. It mentions that people have been displaced in South Asia by the structural violence inherent in the states' development policies than by human rights violation by the forces of the state. It states that within the borders of India has more than 21 million displaced persons, in which majority were displaced by development projects enforced by the government.
