- Abstract
The article discusses the court case Jones v. Municipal Employees' Annuity & Benefit Fund (MEABF) of Chicago where city employees sued the several public pension funds such Laborers' and Retirement Board Employees' Annuity and Benefit Fund (LABF) and state law which underfunds the pensions of Chicago city employees. The Illinois Supreme Court rejected the city employees' argument that their benefits had been reduced.
