- Abstract
In this article, the author focuses on the importance of being relevant for health practitioners and presents the example of how National Environmental Health Association (NEHA) retained its relevance. He believes that the meaning of the term relevance is not constant and exists as one of the ever-moving targets and so to remain relevant, one should monitor trends and developments. He summarizes several trends and developments and the response that NEHA has undertaken including growing migration in reading preference from print to digital leading NEHA to publish more electronic-newsletters and growing interest in interactive education methods which led the association to develop an extensive interactive learning track of education.
