- Abstract
The article focuses on the application of the Kinetic Sculpture activity from the television program "Design Squad Nation" in teaching kids to build a sculpture designs. The program challenges the kids to design a system that allows at least two parts to move in the wind, build a structure to support the moving parts, and creation of a base that lets the tower stay up when the parts shift their positions. During the activity, teachers should help students debug various issues in the challenges such as the falling of tower in the wind, distribution of weight, and unexpected movement of parts.
