- Abstract
The article reports on a Yellow White-eye (Zosterops luteus) bird observed on Little Woody (Meggi Yalubi) Island in Queensland, Australia in 2003 during Klaus Uhlenhut's annual Bird Week. Other similar sightings were made. Sightings of the bird on the eastern side of the Cape York Peninsula and off the north-east coast of Queensland have been reported, but no permanent dwellings were established. The bird's presence on Little Woody Island extends its range by 420 km from Christmas Creek.
