- Abstract
The article discusses a study on three cases of IgA nephropathy patients who experienced hematuria after receiving the COVID-19 vaccine. The study suggests that this side effect may be linked to mRNA and viral vector vaccines. However, the small sample size and lack of data on the prevalence of hematuria after vaccination in individuals with IgA nephropathy limit the significance of these findings. The article also mentions potential mechanisms for vaccine-induced hematuria, but further research is needed. Despite the side effect, the benefits of vaccination outweigh the risks for these patients.
