An essay is presented in which the author argues that law schools should offer the bachelor of law (LL.B) degree. He suggests that the LL.B exist as a four-year undergraduate degree while the Juris Doctor (JD) degree remains the research-based graduate degree. The article discusses this reform as a response to decreased demand for legal education and declining job markets.
