- Abstract
The article discusses the judgment by the European Court of Human Rights in Drelingas v Lithuania about the application of the principle of legality in the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR) with regard to the crime of genocide. It examines the possible involvement of the national group Lithuanian Partisans in the crime of genocide. The choice to limit the protection provided by the Genocide Convention to political groups is also analyzed.
