The article discusses the notion of a Reverse Underground Railroad in relation to the actions of black kidnappers of people of color. Topics include the impact of kidnappers of color on free black communities, the notion of kidnappers of color as con artists in relation to social intelligence and racial essentialism, and the collaboration of some people of color with slavery and the slave trade.
