- Abstract
The article discusses the approach of the researcher to revision stapes surgery and the outcomes from 49 procedures at a UK tertiary center. Revision stapes surgery are perceived to be difficult. Cases may harbor factors which include failure of primary surgery and including advanced otosclerotic disease and additional pathology such as lateral ossicular chain fixation, or difficult access due to anatomy.
