The article looks at problems being faced by organizers of the Regina Folk Festival in Saskatchewan. The event receives funding through several grants, but notice of acceptance for most of them do not come until just prior to festival dates and funds arrive after the festivity. Moreover, the numbers of people involved do not meet the rapid expansion of the festival, which is apparent in the event's food services.
